Here at Nature in Art we are extremely passionate about supporting local artists and craftspeople, helping to highlight the array of crafts available and the creativity of the people in the local area. On various weekends throughout the year we host a two-day Mini Craft Market in the Education Centre, where five to ten crafters sell their unique handmade crafts.
Previous crafts have included: nature crafts – paper crafts, woodwork, paintings, crochet/knitting, weaving, decoupage, cards, glass, silk painting, textile bags, jewellery, resin art, flood painting…

An illustrated talk by Julian Hight, which coincides with the exhibition by The Arborealists. Julian is a designer, photographer and musician and a well known writer and speaker. He has had a passion for trees since childhood. His published books include Britain’s Tree Story, World Tree Story and Britain’s Ancient Forest Legacy and Lore. Britain has the least forest cover in northern Europe, but is thought to host its highest number of ancient trees. So, join Julian for this beautifully illustrated talk and hear about some truly magnificent living legends of the arboreal world.

Karen is a Gold Signature Member of the UKCPS (United Kingdom Coloured Pencil Society). She has won many awards for her artwork including “Best Fantasy/Abstract” picture at the UKCPS Annual International Exhibition in 2014.

This is one of a series of shows highlighting the work of art societies. This exhibition, on show in the Atrium of our Wallsworth Centre, features work by The Wildlife Art Society International’s award winners from their 2024 Annual exhibition. A wonderful chance to come and do some stargazing with local astronomers who will be bringing their equipment to share. Learn about the stars and the equipment to view them. As part of the evening Neil Havard will be giving a talk and showing some wonderful astronomical photographs. Includes tea and coffee. Tickets via ArtTickets, £6.
An evening with members of the Cotswold Astronomical Society to experience some star gazing and learn a little about the sky at night.
