Newspaper weaving

A unique selection of ceramics by a world renowned maker, Jill Fanshawe Kato. Jill explores many techniques including coiling, slabbing, sculpting, using moulds and throwing and altering. She regards her work, which is held in collections worldwide, as sitting somewhere ‘between sculpture and painting’.

The Wildlife  Art  Society International’s annual exhibition of wildlife art. Around 300 paintings, drawings, original prints, photographs and sculpture by professional and part-time members of this active organisation will be on display, the majority for sale. Members will be demonstrating throughout the exhibition. (Free access to this exhibition without visiting the museum).

During the Bank Holiday weekend (27th -29th May) TWASI will be running a series of workshops taught by artist members.

Saturday 27th:- Paint a Bird on a Feather with Mandi Baykaa-Murray

Sunday 28th:- Big Cats Coloured Pencil Workshop with France Bouduin

Monday 30th:- Space to Breathe. Design, Space and a Touch of the Abstract with Gregory Wellman
