This 1-day course is a wonderful introduction to the world of coloured pencil techniques.
Learn the art of layering different coloured pencil strokes to create the ‘realistic details’ of a Red Admiral Butterfly, using Derwent Coloursoft Pencils on a dark coloured Mount Board.

Artist’s Profile Karen is a self taught award winning coloured pencil artist and tutor, painting mostly wildlife subjects. She is a Gold Signature member of the UKCPS (UK Coloured Pencil Society).
She exhibits nationally and has won many awards for her detailed pencil work. She runs regular workshops in the Pencil Museum, Keswick as well as many classes in Hampshire, where she currently lives.
