Course Description:
This is a course for all abilities who have an interest in learning, to paint wildflowers, plants and weeds in their natural habitat.
It could be a corner of a garden which inspires you, a field full of wildflowers, a landscape, anywhere where plants live in their natural habitat and are in their abundance. Anywhere, where their energy and beauty dominate the landscape and where the human footprint is at a minimum.
Materials Required:
Participants will need to bring their own tools and materials to work with including paint brushes, their chosen medium (either gouache, acrylic or oil paint) and ground (paper, board or canvas). Participants must also bring in photographs of what they wish to paint.
Artist’s Profile:
Ros has been painting the natural world for decades. Her aim through her work is to combine truth to the real plants and places, combined with the variety and energy found there.
She is drawn to complex plant relationships where they grow naturally in the wild. It is their beauty and uniqueness that inspires her.
Art Course Cost: £135 NiA Members, £165 Non-members
(cost does not include lunch (available to order and purchase on the day from the Coffee Shop))
