One of our most popular events, the annual craft fair at Nature in Art has become well known as a source for unique, individually hand crafted gifts, offered to you directly by the craft people who made them, so often a gift can be personalised to make it even more special.N in A 2015007(2)

Many of the makers will be demonstrating so you will be able to see just how your unique gift was created.

The range of quality gifts you will find at the craft fair includes woodturning, jewellery, ceramics, textile items, as well as stained glassware, metal work, paper crafts and children gifts. With such a wide selection you are bound to find the perfect gift for your friends and family, or even treat yourself!

During the weekend as well as watching demonstrations from the craft workers, and purchasing gifts, you can also view most of the museum galleries.
You may also be a winner on the raffle or tombola, so make sure you purchase a ticket. There will be a separate raffle on the Saturday and Sunday.

Wallsworth Art Group
May 17 @ 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

The Wallsworth Art Group will be restarting its programmes on Wednesday 17th May. We will be joined by Chris Sinden and Jackie cox, two artists who work together. Chris is a printmaker and Jackie works in a variety of media from pastel and watercolour to scraperboard. They will talk about their latest projects.

The Wallsworth Art Group meets throughout the year to enjoy a programme of evening demonstrations, films, talks, practical art workshops and other events. It is open to all. There is no selection procedure to join the group or to take part in its annual exhibition. Some members are very new to art and others have enjoyed art practice for many years. The group aims to be all-inclusive and to provide a stimulating, encouraging and non-judgemental environment where people can learn about and explore different aspects of art and art techniques.

Meetings are held on the first Monday (excluding bank holidays) and third Wednesday of each month in the evening. Each evening starts at 7pm and lasts for an hour or so.

Guests pay £3 per evening, otherwise meetings are free to members who pay an annual fee to join. To become a member in 2023 it will be £15 until the end of the calendar year. Some evenings may incur a small extra charge for, for example, special materials or a model. Non-members are welcome to come to any meeting without booking.

If you are not a member and would like information, please send us a message.
